TE10.04 - Researches “emerging technologies” and discusses the implications of several of these by creating a web presentation.
Standard Unpacked:
Student researches emerging technologies and does a web presentation on them. A emerging technology is one that is new and is starting to be used. This technology is one the student might thing would be very popular in the near future. The presentation should explain the technology and then tell what it could be used for. The presentation could be an online slide show, webpage, wiki page, podcast, or other online presentation, not a simple PowerPoint. Student should present this presentation or show it to the class.
Making a powerpoint does not meet this standard and should not be allowed.
