This would be a great way to do a how to paper. How to prepare a local subsistence food, from the gathering, storing, to preparing, and then to eating.

Make a documentary

Make a podcasting (several episodes) interviewing people on subsistence food.

Make a digital book on subsistence food

Have a local foods potlock, where students each present on a different food.
